Results for Block B Final Exams

The grades are in for block B, and they are not pretty.  The class average was a 58, despite the fact that there were two 97's and one 100 in the class.  This means that some of you will have to take the first marking period chemistry credit recovery course next year.  Please submit your applications to guidance as soon as you check your grades in Genesis.

The school year is almost over, but not quite.  Please make sure to study for your final exams?

For those who delivered a less than acceptable performance, applications for summer school will be due immediately after your grades are posted for the semester.

Final exams for Chem Lab will be this Friday for block B and this Monday for block CDEF.  Please complete the review packet and study.  You may bring a two page (8.5x11) note sheet to the test that must be prepared personally by you.  Also, please remember to bring a pencil, since you need to complete a scantron when you take the exam.  Don't be late and don't miss the exam.  The only excuse is a doctor's note or a court appearance.  No other makeups will be given. Books will also be collected during the exam.

Good Luck!

Friday, June 10 is the last day to turn in any corrected labs for a regrade.  Also, any test makeups also need to be done by the close of the school day this Friday.

I know, I know.  It's a half day.  But the effort that you put in will pay off.

For the few who missed the project due date.

I have tallied the submissions and there are a few students who have not emailed their projects.  While they are now late, be sure to do them and email to me ASAP.  Remember, this project counts for two test grades, or roughly ten percent of your marking period 4 grade.  A late grade of 70 is much better than a grade of 0.

And the projects are in!

All PowerPoint research projects were due by 11:59PM on Friday, and I received quite a few in my email inbox.  The few that I have taken a peek at look great, and I can't wait to be able to see all of them.  It should take about a week for me to grade all of them, so look for your grade to be posted on Genesis by Monday, June 13.
